A pochi passi dalla stazione di Torino Porta Susa si trova un ristorante di classe, sofisticato, dai dettagli minimali ma curati e dal personale gentile e preparato, stiamo parlando del ristorante Wang Jiao. Ve ne voglio parlare perché è sicuramente uno dei migliori, se non il migliore, ristoranti cinesi che io abbia mai provato. Quello che ho apprezzato di più della cucina ristorante è che non solo vi si possono trovare i piatti a cui siamo abituati nei soliti ristoranti cinesi, così che anche i più tradizionalisti possano essere accontentati, ma nel menù troviamo pietanze appartenenti alla vera cucina cinese e che non si trovano da altre parti come le orecchie di maiale piccanti e le uova del centenario. Un’altra specialità è la scodella di fuoco; se la ordinerete vi verrà servito un wok tutto per voi con dentro carne/pesce e verdure molto piccanti. Una delizia! Consigliatissimi anche tutti i tipi di ravioli, gli gnocchi di riso e i calamari fritti piccanti, un altro piatto che non mi dimenticherò facilmente. La sorpresa finale? Il conto, secondo me molto giusto, anzi addirittura economico, per la qualità dei piatti che ci sono stati serviti. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Not far from Porta Susa train station in Turin you can find a beautiful restaurant, classy, sofisticated, with minimal but very covered details, with a kind and prepared staff, I’m talking about Wang Jiao. I’d like to talk about it because it’s one of the best, if not the best, chinese restaurant that I’ve ever tried. What I liked most is that you can find there not only the dishes that you find in every chinese restaurant but also the real typical and traditional chinese food and that you can’t find elsewhere, such as spicy pig ear and centenary eggs. Another speciality is the hot bowl: if you order it you’ll get a wok only for you, with spicy meat/fish and vegetables. So good! I suggest you also every type of jiaozi, rice gnocchi and spicy fried squids, another dish that I won’t forget. The final surprise? The bill which it was even cheap if we consider the quality of the food they served us. I’ll backe there, for sure!
