Prima mi sono innamorata dei suoi abiti e intervistandola ho capito perché mi piacevano tanto e mi sono innamorata della sua storia. Carla ha iniziato a cucire circa cinque anni fa per fare dei regali fatti a mano per Natale e da quel giorno non ha mai smesso. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo che paragonasse il processo creativo ad un corteggiamento e anche per questo il nome del suo brand, La ragazza dello Sputnik, ispirato al libro di Murakami, autore a cui è molto affezionata. Laureata in archeologia ha saputo lasciarsi trasportare dove la portava la vita e ha fatto di questa sua passione il suo lavoro. Grinta, autenticità e passione sono i termini con cui descrive il suo brand e da quello che ho visto e quello che mi ha raccontato la passione ce la mette davvero tutta. Il suo prodotto distintivo sono da sempre le borse ma è stata una vera soddisfazione per lei avere anche una linea di abbigliamento per la quale predilige tessuti freschi, morbidi, fluidi. Il suo prossimo obiettivo è di poter trovare dei negozi nel territorio italiano dove poter rivendere i suoi abiti e io glielo auguro di cuore. I fell in love with her creations and then, after our interview, I fell in love with her story and I understood why I like her works so much. Carla started sewing five years ago because she wanted to give handmade gifts for Christmas and since then she never stopped. I loved that she compare creative process with courtship and this is also why her brand is called La ragazza dello Sputnik which is the name of love story by Murakami. She graduated in archaeology but then she went where the wave of live was moving her and her passion became a job. Dazzle, passion and authenticity are the words that describe better her brand. Since the beginning, her signature are bags but she was very happy to start making clothing too. For it she prefers soft and fresh fabrics.
