Second part of my guide to Liguria (you can find the first part here), here I am talking about those that are in my opinion the best places to swim and where to eat among the places I visited. Let’s start with where to bathe:
Just 10 minutes from Portofino, Paraggi is almost a small cove where the water is super clean and beautiful. What is bad is that the baths are very expensive, I paid so much and it wasn’t even in high season, and unfortunately the free beach area is really tiny, in fact it was completely full when I went there. There is also a small open space on the cliff, from which you can dive in the sea. I managed to bathe there in the morning but when I came back in the afternoon it was full of people there too.
The beautiful things of bathing in Cervo, as well as the clean water, is that you can find any type of beach and so it can satisfy all the tastes. There is that with sand, that with pebbles and there is the option of lying on the rocks, there are several baths to choose from and free beach areas.
Bergeggi also offers several baths to choose from and areas of free beach, the beach is mainly with pebbles, not really comfortable but bearable and the water is really clean. We stayed at the Playa de Luna baths which I really enjoyed because it is well organized, clean, the staff are friendly and it was not too busy that day so perfect.
