Santorini: day 2!

Il secondo giorno a Santorini l’abbiamo passato a Kamari. La mattina siamo andati alle rovine dell’antica città di Thira, si trovano abbastanza in alto quindi, per via del caldo e della continua esposizione al sole, vi consiglio di visitarle o di mattina presto o al pomeriggio tardi. Al pomeriggio e per pranzo siamo stati in spiaggia a Kamari. Mi è piaciuto molto il lungomare, pieno di negozietti e ristoranti. I ristoranti sono tutti sfiziosissimi e vi consiglio di guardare quali offrono anche l’ombrellone e gli sdrai per non pagare a parte la spiaggia.
Al tramonto abbiamo scoperto la magia dell’isola a Oia. L’unica pecca è che essendo uno dei tramonti più famosi al mondo c’è davvero tanta ma tanta gente in estate. Comunque si ha una vista del tramonto stupenda e Oia di notte è favolosa quindi se andate a Santorini dovete assolutamente andarci.

We spent our second day in Santorini in Kamari. In the morning we went to the ruins of the ancient Thira that are high enough and that, because of the heat and the constant exposure to the sun, I recommend you visit or in the early morning or late in the afternoon. In the afternoon and for lunch we went at the beach of Kamari. I really liked the promenade, full of shops and restaurants. The restaurants are all so good and I recommend you to see which of them also offer an umbrella and deck chairs for the beach for not to pay other than the beach.
At sunset we discovered the magic of the island in Oia. The only flaw is that being one of the most famous sunsets in the world there are really many many people in summer. However, it’s a fantastic view of the sunset and in the night Oia is fabulous so if you go to Santorini you should definitely go there.
