Finalmente dopo diversi anni in cui si tiene al Lingotto a Torino il Festival dell’Oriente sono riuscita a partecipare a questo evento. Per me era molto importante perchè come molti di poi sapranno io studio cinese e in particolare mi laureerò in culture orientali quindi non potevo perderlo. L’evento si tiene quasi sempre a marzo ma lo potete trovare in altre città italiane e in altri periodi dell’anno. Devo dire che mi aspettavo qualcosa di un po’ diverso perchè principalmente di tratta di un grande mercato, in cui tra l’altro in mezzo a cose che magari si può trovare solo in queste occasioni ce ne sono altre che trovi in qualunque mercatino al mare. Ci sono poi tre palchi, uno dedicato solo alle arti marziali e gli altri dove si alternano bellissime danze ad altre dimostrazioni. Interessanti sono i ristoranti, ce ne sono per tantissimi paesi e che possono soddisfare diversi palati. Io ho mangiato in quello indiano ed era tutto molto buono! 🙂 In generale sono rimasta un po’ delusa perchè mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso, in più essendo io interessata alla Cina ho trovato davvero poche cose dedicate a questo paese.Comunque mi sono lo stesso divertita perchè ho fatto diverse “attività” cosa che vi consiglio di fare nel caso ci andaste, per esempio io ho provato la pittura sino-giapponese grazie alla mia compagna d’università Ariane, ho fumato il narghilè e assaggiato diverse cosine. Inoltre ho comprato dei tè buonissimi! 🙂 Quindi vi consiglio di andare se ne avete l’occasione e di provare a fare un po’ di tutto 🙂

Finally after several years in which the “Festival dell’Oriente” was held at the Lingotto in Turin I was able to participate at this event. For me it was very important because as many of you will know I study Chinese, and in particular I will graduate in oriental cultures so I could not lose it. The event is held in March in Turin, but you can find it in other Italian cities and in other times of the year. I must say I was expecting something a little different because mainly is a big market, where among other things in the midst of things that maybe you can only find on these occasions there are others that you can find in any market at the seaside . There are three stages, one dedicated only to martial arts and others where there are marvelous dances and other demonstrations. The restaurants are amazing, there are many countries that can satisfy different palates. I ate at the Indian one and it was all very good! 🙂 Overall I was a little disappointed because I expected something different, and as I am more interested in China I found very few things dedicated to this country. Anyway I had fun because I made different “activities” which I recommend you to do if you go there, for example, I tried the Sino-Japanese painting thanks to my friend Ariane, I smoked the hookah and tasted different things. I also bought some delicious tea! 🙂 So I recommend you to go if you get a chance and try to do a lot of things 🙂
